What is Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup ?
Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup is a thick soup which is usually made of Chicken ,Mushroom, Roux, Cream and Milk. It is one of my favourite soup, It’s so much easy to make and healthier than other soups made with some few wholesome ingredients.

What is a Roux ?
Roux is the equal mixture combination of Butter and a Flour.
100 gm of Butter
100 gm of Flour
( Fry the flour with butter until golden brown and keep aside )
Ingredients for Chicken stock :
( Boil the water with all the ingredients for at least 1 hour and strain it. Now chicken stock is ready to use in any Soup)
Ingredients for Soup :
- 100gm of Boiled chunks of chicken boneless.
- 100 gm of Dried fresh Button Mushroom
- 1 medium chopped onion.
- 3-4 cloves chopped garlic.
- Salt & Pepper to taste.
- 30 gm of Butter.
- 1/2 teaspoon of Dry herbs ( Rosemery and Basil ).
- 150ml of Cold Milk.
- 3 teaspoon of Fresh Cream.
- 1 bunch of chopped Parsley.
- 1/2 teaspoon of Sugar (Optional)
- 2 cups of Roux.
- 1 ltr of Chicken Stock (800ml)
- Side dish of Garlic Bread, Bread Basket with Butter.
1st Step :
Take a thick button sauce pan and heat it.
2nd Step :
Melt the butter and immediately add the chopped onion , garlic than saute it until soft.
3rd Step :
Add Salt and Pepper with mixed herbs than again saute it . Now add the Mushroom and fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked after that add the boiled chicken.
4th Step :
Time to add Roux and mix it very well than add chicken stock and whisking it until semi thick. Finally add the Cold milk, Cream than leave it to boil for a 2 minutes.
5th Step :
Now, Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup is cooked and ready to serve in a soup bowl, granish with Fresh Cream and Parsley. Side dish of Bread Basket.
