Napolitana Sauce , also known as Neopolitan Sauce , is a traditional Italian recipe. It is a tomato- based sauce which is sweet, sour and spicy at the same time. The main ingredients is tomato, along with other ingredients like- red chilly, olive oil, garlic and caster sugar. It is base sauce for many spaghetti recipes, and is also used as the base in meat ball gravies. It is a very basic, very simple yet quite delicious sauce. Whip this up and store in the freezer for a week or use it directly to make pasta and spaghetti.

Ingredients of Napolitana Sauce 2 servings
▢ 150g of Boiled & Blend Tomatoes . ▢ 70g of Tomato Puree. ▢ 3/4 cloves of chopped Garlic. ▢ 300ml Veg Stock . ▢ Salt & Pepper to taste. ▢ 1 Tbsp of Sugar. ▢ 50g of Butter. ▢ 50g of Flour. ▢ 1t.sp of mixed dry herbs ( Rosemary, Basil, Oregano ).
How to make Napolitana Sauce ?
1st Step :-
▢ Take a thick button sauce pan , heat it and melt the Butter in medium heat than add chopped Garlic in it.
2nd Step :-
▢ Once the Garlic start turning golden than immediately add Flour and saute it until the texture of the flour.
3rd Step :-
▢ Now add the Tomato puree and stir it for few minutes until cooked then, add blended & Boiled Tomatoes. Stair it for 2 minutes.
4th Step :-
▢ Time to add Salt & Pepper with Sugar and mixed Herbs Now, add the Veg Stock than stir again and leave it to boil until thick.
5th Step :-
▢ Now, Strain the Sauce in Conical Strainer , Napolitana Sauce is ready to use in Pasta, Pizza or Soup.
